ENGINEERING FOR THE AI BUILD-OUT

AI growth changes the mechanical brief.

More compute and more automation do not create one universal part. They create tighter links between motion, thermal management, assembly interfaces and release speed. WEKO reviews the machined component inside that system context.

01 / MOTION DENSITY

More function in every joint

Compact robot joint housings and actuator housings concentrate bearing seats, motor interfaces, cable paths and mounting datums into less space. The manufacturing review must protect how those features relate—not only how each dimension reads alone.

02 / THERMAL DENSITY

Cooling hardware becomes structural

AI data-center liquid-cooling components such as CNC machined manifolds, cold-plate frames and server structural supports can combine sealing faces, flow passages and mounting interfaces. Material, flatness, finish and leak-sensitive features need one coordinated plan.

03 / DEPLOYMENT SPEED

Revision speed without process drift

AI hardware moves quickly, but every CAD update can affect workholding, tool access and inspection. A controlled prototype-to-production path keeps revision questions visible before repeat batches begin.

04 / ASSEMBLY CONFIDENCE

Evidence at the interfaces

Robot bores, actuator datums, manifold sealing faces and rack mounting patterns create downstream risk when they are treated as generic tolerances. Inspection evidence should follow the interfaces that determine fit and function.

QUALITY PLANNING

The interface must be measured—not assumed.

Inspection scope is matched to the drawing and application risk. We avoid generic tolerance promises and confirm capability against the actual geometry.

RFQ QUESTIONS

Before you upload the drawing.

Answers for robotics engineering and purchasing teams evaluating an overseas CNC manufacturing partner.

What should I send for an AI robotics CNC quote?+

Send a STEP or STP model plus a dimensioned PDF drawing when available. Include material, quantity, finish, critical tolerances, inspection requirements and the target delivery date.

Can you review bearing bores and joint interfaces?+

Yes. Identify the bearing seats, concentric features, datums, bolt patterns and other assembly-critical interfaces on the drawing. Capability is confirmed against the actual geometry and tolerance stack.

Do you support prototypes and repeat production?+

Projects can be reviewed for prototypes, design validation, bridge quantities and repeat production. The manufacturing plan depends on geometry, material, inspection scope and volume.

Which materials are available?+

Common robotics requests include aluminum 6061 and 7075, stainless steel, alloy steel, brass and engineering plastics. The exact grade, condition and certification requirement are confirmed at RFQ.

How are uploaded drawings handled?+

Files submitted through this page are stored with the RFQ record for manufacturing review. Do not submit export-controlled or specially regulated data without first confirming an appropriate handling agreement.
